I voted for HW Bush and Dole. I held my nose again and AGAIN. And the nomineees keep getting WORSE. Hows THAT working out for you?
Not working.
What DOES work? What WILL work?
In my view, the GOP has been asleep at the wheel ever since Reagan left office. All this yearning for the like of Reagan -- I understand that. But wishing won't make it so! "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride."
It's not just at the national level that WE THE PEOPLE are stuck with voting for the lesser of two evils over and over again.
Damn. Politics is a discouraging topic these days -- and for the past 20+ years.
Perhaps a remedy lies in the offing. I understand that an independent web based group is in the process of securing ballot access for a presidential candidate in all fifty states. A popular web-based nomination process will supply the name. Should that name prove "credible", then perhaps more "choice" becomes possible. But then, likely not. Hope springs eternal.
